Working Now
I've finally gotten a job! ^_^ I started yesterday, an editorial assistant of BizNews Asia, a weekly business magazine. I decided to take the job while I'm waiting for ABS-CBN to call me back for a second interview (if luck permits :p). It's funny, but my boss even told me that, if I'm really good, he'll refer me to either ABS or GMA himself *haha*. And, what a small world, it turns out that the representative who called me at home was actually Noreen, Ali Sulit's wife. Ali's the coach of the Ateneo Judo Team, where Carlo belonged.
So far so good! (In terms of feedback) My boss was very much happy with the work I did in the first assignment he gave me, which was to condense a transcript and form a cohesive storyline with it. Today he gave me a lot of 60s to edit. Shame, I had to leave a little later on, so I wasn't able to finish the work. It's okay, though. He understood that I couldn't stay overtime tonight, saying "baby" pa raw ako. *haha*
The staff is small, the office homey... People warm and candid. I like it here! ^_^ Not to mention that I'm doing work that I enjoy and was trained to do. It's too bad Je didn't take up the offer as well, that would have been the best part. ^_^
Finally! A full-time job! And I think I can hack it. ^_^
