Aiming for Gold
I felt really great to be with my Anyo Team again (Diane, Crespo, and me)! The three of us got together again this morning, for the first time since I decided to come back to the team, to practice for the upcoming IMAF competition. I've been learning the new Anyo since last week, but today was the first time we were able to do it together--and it was a laugh every minute! ^_^ Diane kept doing this silly pose for our "finale," up to the point that we all agreed to joke about it and make Papa Ry believe that we're actually going to use that pose in the competition! :p We modified the ending a little bit, though, so that we'd be able to compensate for taking out a jump complicated somethings in the earlier version of the Anyo. I'm not making much sense here, I know. :p It's so hard to put these sort of thing into words.
But being with them this morning really brightened up my day. ^_^ It felt great to catch up on kuwentos and just laugh and kid around. It took of a ton of pressure that I'd been feeling eversince last week. Now I know that I'll be able to enjoy getting back on the Anyo Team, and that I won't feel so stressed about memorizing the forms anymore. It just felt so natural with them around.
