Some more pictures

A melting pot of cultures. Finance and Economic Reporting 2005. With Mr. Graham "So What?!" Watts of the Financial Times (top right). He taught us to keep asking the question "so what?" in our stories. LOL.

With Erich Stather (second row, middle, with the white polo and tie). He's the Deputy Secretary for the Federal Ministry of Cooperation and Development, or simply put, the Department of Aid--something only first world countries have. Hahaha! This was a press conference, and when I asked about the Philippines applying for debt relief, Stather got this look on his face and said "The Philippines is not poor!"

In so many words, he said the Philippines didn't need debt relief, and probably wouldn't get it. Sorry JDV! LOL. The way I read in the papers (um, internet), he was right. Looks like our government will have to find ways to improve tax collection instead. Good luck.

Vanity in the guise of getting a nice overhead view of Berlin behind me. Haha! Stather's building has a great overhead view of almost all the sides of Berlin, from the balcony.
